Attachments get deleted for a 'branch' if main branch gets deleted

I made a normal Chat and sent markdown files.
I then branched off and deleted the original chat.

I could still chat in the branched off chat, but when using models like Gemini which allow files, I kept getting an error. I scrolled up to find my files and when clicking on them found that they were returning 404’s.
