Attachments cannot be removed when editing a message

First, I sent a message with an attachment and waited for the response.
Then, I realized that I had attached the wrong attachment and tried to remove the attachment by editing the message.
However, when I clicked on the X to remove the attachment on the edited message, the message exited editing mode and it didn’t remove the attachment.
