Approaching Token Limit notification broken?

I knew my current thread was getting very long but had not received the warning that I was approaching the limit. Tried to type a new reply and was met with “Your message is too long. Please shorten it and try again.”

After searching on here to see if anyone had reported this problem and swapping back to the thread, it had updated to “This thread has exceeded the token limit. Switch to a model with higher limits.”

So maybe the You are “Approaching Token Limit…” notification might be broken?
Please note: it’s still there in my older threads that were approaching the limit though.
