Allow Search->Reason->Search
This is what makes o3 the best chat model. Its ability to perform a search, reflect on its findings and then do further search. I’ve tried this in multiple ways with multiple models and I always get the same error message.

Allow consecutive search over rejection.
When a model attempts to search more than once (e.g. researching price/products) in the same response, it will report:
“I'm sorry, I couldn't find the information you were looking for. Please try again with more specific details.”
Have an option in Preferences to configure the limit if needed. Alternatively, implement a Research feature for said tasks.

This is dependent on the implementation of the models themselves. OpenAI models have implemented this, and but it is uncommon in other providers.
We are working on fixing the error you encountered, but currently are lacking some of the required points we need to be able to hook into, so it is takingn some time.

Thank you for the response. Yes that’s true for tool calls within the reasoning chain. But what I am discussing is a multi turn functionality. So basically a while loop that terminates when the model returns text only without a tool call. It could still be buggy if the model decides to return text only with the intention of doing a tool call in the next turn.

Ah, I see. It’s not quite the same as what I was thinking, but I believe the changes we are making will enable this sort of functionality to be possible. Will have to think on how credit usage works on such messages, and potentially some slightly different UI/UX, but this could be cool
