Allow pasting medium sized text as an attachement

Feature Request

A cool feature of T3 Chat is that it automatically adds as attachment long text that is pasted, this is very user friendly because you probably don’t want to see that text as part of the prompt, but this only works for relatively large texts, sometimes a text is medium sized and gets pasted into the prompt, it would be really cool if there was a way for the user to add some text as an attachment just to not see it in the prompt.

Note that I’m only talking about the UI part of the chat, how the message is sent to the AI model is up to the implementation and that’s not what I’m asking for

    I actually don’t like the fact that I can’t decide, I usually prefer my text to be pasted in the prompt because I want to edit it and iterate on my prompts. It’s so weird I can’t edit the text I just pasted.

      If you paste <250 lines/10K characters it will not convert to an attachment. The input box is really not well suited to editing huge prompts.

      It would be nice to be able to edit the contents of the text attachements, don’t know how do-able it is though 🤔

        Not really without some pretty big changes. Worth making a separate feature request though, if enough people want it I can certainly look into it more

    It would be nice to have this as a keyboard shortcut. There was some discussion with Mark for this on discord, to see which shortcut would make the most sense.
