The value prop is there because I had a friend ask which AI I preferred because he was tired of so many subscriptions to each. I just told him to get t3 and he will most likely never hit limits because he isn’t a power user anyways, just an average user of AI who will hit limits on occasion.
I know personally that running affiliate programs on such low cost subscription services can be very difficult margin-wise. One idea is that maybe the user could elect for higher limits or limit increases or other account benefits from affiliate sign ups as an alternative to direct payouts? Can be presented honestly like, “Electing for account/limit upgrades is preferred by the t3 team as it allows us to better keep our revenue flowing back to improving our product for everyone.”
People sharing in mass will probably always elect for direct payouts per subscription but people like me, casually sharing it here and there with people I think it benefits, a rate increase or account upgrades could be appealing.
Just a thought to maybe stir up some possible creativity within what the affiliate reward can be. Appreciate the work team 🙏
Digital Ocean offers a chat widget to place on your website. I understand this is rather basic, but I have found it extremely useful for prototyping and showcasing the services to novices. it could also be utilized like this with “powered by t3” to offer a path to onboarding and some credits could be dished out.
