It would be great if T3 supported image generation. The Gemini API pricing seems reasonable but I don't know if the API would support inline use in chat but I guess it might be worth looking into.

I know openAI is yet to have this in their API, but gemini-2.0-flash does support it(albeit experimental)…

When this feature is launched, I hope it is enabled for all models that support this and not just 4o, even though that is SOTA.

  No because we do not have a firm date from OpenAI. they have said “within a few weeks”

  That is what we are figuring out. We would like to be able to offer at least some amount on the current paid tier, but it is most likely that we will need a higher tier too.

I’d definitely love image generation. I’m trying to give up three paid subscriptions to google, anthropic and openai, but I rely on at least one image gen service.

With the news and API updates that were announced today, is this coming any time soon? I don’t want to pay for Chat GPT as well. I now find myself using the Gemini app for this as I can generally get good results for free but would be rad to do it here instead.
